Barnet B's CC
Introduction
BARNET B’s CRICKET CLUB is based in Barnet, North London and was formed following a merger of Barclays (Cricket Club) CC and Barnet CC in 2007.
We run six sides altogether four on Saturday and two on Sunday. Three teams (Saturday) play in the Middlesex County Championship league and the 4th team (Saturday) plays in The 1987 League.
Our Sunday first and second XI plays in The Chess Valley League as well as playing friendly games. We also actively take parts in the Cup Tournaments and 20-20s.
We also have a Saturday/Sunday friendly side, made up of players of mixed experience and older Colts members.
Barnet B’s Cricket Club is now recruiting colts for the 2010 season.
Our first coaching session starts at 6.30pm on 23rd April at the cricket ground.

Match-day Etiquette

We at Barnet B's try to provide high quality cricket, as reliably as possible, at standards appropriate our member's skills and aspirations. We are helped in this aim by the quality of our ground and facilities to a far greater extent.
However, our overall success relies on the shared commitment of all our playing members. All Barnet B's players are requested to give their best on the field during matches.
Barnet B's expectations of behaviour on and off the field are set out in our ‘Code of Conduct’. Beyond the Code, however, there are some additional considerations that we would like players to bear in mind. These include:
Arriving on time for matches and when meeting for away games
If you intend to travel independently to away games, always notifying your captain in advance
Ensuring that the correct cricket clothing is worn at all times (i.e. avoiding black trainers, dark socks, tee shirts etc.)
Not leaving before the end of a game, unless in an emergency, without the permission of your captain
Agreeing, where necessary, to share in other duties such as scoring, umpiring, moving sightscreens prior to the match (etc.) if the captain requests it.
